About Us

Mission

To help everyone Find, Strengthen, and Carry faith in Jesus.

Who We Are

Who We Are

FIND: to know who Jesus is based upon God's Word and to devote yourself to Him in loving worship.

Many people have a vague idea of who Jesus is. We would like to show you the truth, from the Bible, about who He is and what He has done. The goal is to believe that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

STRENGTHEN: to develop your spiritual life and habits.

God wants everyone to grow in the faith. This happens as we develop friendships and helpful habits such as prayer, Bible study, and thankful worship.

CARRY: to serve, inspire and invite others.

Our faith in Jesus changes our lives so that we will want to lovingly serve, like He did.

What We Believe

The one God is perfect, is all-powerful, and made, and rules everything. He lovingly cares about everyone and everything. He is one God who exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Bible is completely accurate and authoritative on everything that it presents. No other religious book can compare to its purity, comprehensiveness and absolute truth. Therefore, the Bible is to be studied to know the truth and to know how to please God.

Jesus chose to come to earth to rescue us by dying on the cross to pay for the sins of all people. His actual resurrection from the dead proves who He is and that He accomplished salvation. Jesus has ascended into heaven where He has prepared a place for all of His followers. One day He will return to forever destroy sin and undo all of its destructive consequences on the whole universe.

All people are sinners. Every one of us has done many, many bad things. We are selfish and repeatedly disobey God. Our sin separates us from God. If we die in sin, we are disqualified from living in heaven. Only if our sins are paid for can we have heavenly hope. But this payment is neither money nor good deeds that we could do. The Bible clearly states that believing in Jesus is the one basis for forgiveness and salvation (to be saved from guilt and given eternal life in heaven). John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

We are an EFCA church.

The Evangelical Free Churches of America (EFCA) is a wonderful association of churches who are firmly committed to the basic doctrines of God's Word. We strive to be gracious in secondary matters. "Evangelical" carries two important points. It means that Jesus is the one and only Savior. It also means that we believe the Bible is God's true Word for everyone, forever. Being "Free" means that our local church is free to make our own decisions about ministry, leadership, finances, and more.
